FeelViana Sports Center Classes
Before participating in FeelViana Sports Center activities (Surf, Windsurf, Kitesurf, or Wing Foil), please read the terms and conditions below carefully. Acceptance is mandatory to ensure your safety and the proper conduct of the lessons.
- Subject of the Contract
This document governs the provision of lessons and sports activities at the FeelViana Sports Center, including surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wing foiling. Specific details of each activity can be found in the sections below.
- General Clauses
Minors: Clients under 18 years of age must have the contract signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Assumption of risk: All activities involve sporting risks. The client declares to be in good physical condition and a competent swimmer, not pregnant or with significant injuries. The client assumes full responsibility for accidents or damages, releasing FeelViana Sports Center from any liability.
Alcohol, drugs, and eligibility to participate: Classes will not be held if the client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This decision rests solely with the Sports Center management.
NO SHOW / Lateness: In case of absence (NO SHOW) or lateness exceeding 20 minutes, the class will be canceled and will be considered as completed .
Cancellations:
For regular FeelViana activities:
› If you cancel 48 hours or more before the activity, there will be no charge.
If you need to cancel between 48 and 24 hours in advance, we will charge 50% of the total amount.
› For cancellations made within 24 hours, or if you do not show up, you will be charged the full price of the activity.
For lesson packages or private bookings:
Cancellations made 15 days or more in advance are completely free of charge.
› If you cancel within 7 days of the arrival date, you will be charged the full amount.
No refunds: Classes, tours, or activities are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Lesson duration: Lessons can last between 1 and 3 hours, depending on the instructor's assessment and local conditions.
Image and marketing authorization: The client authorizes the use of their image for promotional purposes and the sending of information about campaigns, events, and promotions.
- Specific clauses by activity
Surf
Risk of damaging the board.
Wave policy: if conditions are not suitable, an alternative will be offered (lesson, rental or product).
Individual or group classes follow general rules regarding duration and attendance.
Windsurf
Risk of damaging the sail/board.
Wind Policy: In case of no wind, wait 20 minutes before rescheduling.
Alternatives available according to general policy.
Kitesurfing / Wing Foil
Risk of damaging kite/wing/board.
Wind Policy: In case of no wind, wait 20 minutes before rescheduling.
Alternatives available according to general policy.
- Legal Clauses
This contract is governed by Portuguese law. The courts of Viana do Castelo shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute.
